After High School graduation I started working as a technician at the Dubrovnik Archive photo lab, where my interest for photography have started. It developed to passion for moving pictures.
I have entered film industry, starting as camera loader and camera assistent, after I have applied for the position of monitor operator on the feature movie Libertas (2003, dir. Veljko Bulajic), which was shot in Dubrovnik.
In years to came I have climbed the ladder in camera departmant, moving to the positions of focus puller, camera operator, underwater camera operator and, finally – cinematographer. In last couple years I have mostly worked as Director of photography on TV series, short movies, and currently preparing feature film.
I have gained significant experience on film and digital cameras, working as camera assistant, camera operator and cinematographer on a number of music videos, commercials, documentaries and feature films.
I have also specialized in image processing working as a colorist, which is a great help in my work as director of photography. My professional goals are further education and specialization in cinematography and image processing.
